Terms and Conditions Heart Song, (& Bear Spirit) 4 Royal Oak Cottages, Shalbourne, Wiltshire, SN8 3RW
General You and we agree that these terms and conditions govern your use of this website and any agreement entered into between you and Heart Song, which incorporates Bear Spirit and the Stella Maris Temple of Light.
COURSES Copyright All copyright and other intellectual property rights relating to the content of the website and all course material are owned by Heart Song. Copying, adaptation or other use of all or any part of the content without the express permission of Heart Song is strictly prohibited.
Conditions of Enrolment All course lessons will be supplied by Heart Song & Bear Spirit for the fees quoted. If paying by instalments, you agree to pay your instalments promptly each month to Heart Song as they fall due irrespective of the speed at which you study. If you fail to pay an instalment within one calendar month of the due date then the full outstanding balance becomes due immediately. If you fail to settle this outstanding balance within a calendar month then you automatically forfeit all rights under the guarantee below unless an extended payment period has been agreed between us prior to the default. Therefore, if there is any danger of instalment payments being delayed, please write to us. Heart Song will treat all deserving cases as sympathetically as possible. Payment of instalments by bankers order, PayPal Subscription or credit/debit card or PayPal, will eliminate any possibility of penalties under this clause. This clause does not apply to students who pay the full fees.
Heart Song is not responsible for any custom charges that may be incurred.
Heart Song reserves the right to refuse to accept any applications for enrolment.
All course fees must be completed before issue of certification.
Cancellation According to the Distance Selling Regulations 2000, you have a cooling off period of seven working days from receipt of goods. This period allows an unconditional right to cancel. You will be required to make such a request in writing with the return of all learning materials to Heart Song. All course material and any accessory study materials should be returned to us in good and complete order before a refund is made. Any non-arrival of study materials should be reported to Bear Spirit within a further 28 days. Otherwise it will be deemed to have arrived safely with the student. Replacement coursework will be charged at 50% of the current cost of each part.
Liability As far as permitted by law: (a) Heart Song shall have no liability to any person for any loss or damage, however occurring, whether direct or indirect, resulting from the use of the content on this website; (b) Any liability under any agreement between you and Bear Spirit shall be limited to the return of any sums paid by you to Heart Song.
Data Protection Heart Song does not require registration with the Data Protection Commission as personal information is not held on computer. All personal information you provide is used solely by Heart Song to process your order, to respond to any request or enquiry and/or to send you emails to inform you of the services that we provide, unless we have received your explicit permission to do otherwise. We do not generate any third party revenue from the data collected. If you don’t want us to contact you about our services or any offers, please email HeartSongTherapy@aol.com. Request for copies of your personal data, and any other queries relating to your personal data, should be made in writing to Heart Song at the address given above.
Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002 By law when buying goods or services on the internet, you are entering into a legally binding contract.

Heart Song is subject to the laws of the United Kingdom as the company was established and is registered within the United Kingdom.
Credit Agreement regulated by the Consumer Credit Act 1974 Instalment terms are available at an APR of 0%.
IMPORTANT – YOU SHOULD READ THIS CAREFULLY – YOUR RIGHTS
The Consumer Credit Act 1974 covers this agreement and lays down certain requirements for your protection which must be satisfied when the agreement is made. If they are not, the creditor cannot enforce the agreement against you without a Court Order. The Act also gives you a number of rights. You have a right to settle this agreement at any time by giving notice in writing and paying off all amounts payable under this agreement which may be reduced by a rebate. If you would like to know more about the protection and remedies provided under the Act, you should contact either your local Trading Standards Department or your nearest Citizens Advice Bureau.
