Shanti Chimes

Hand made in the Pyrenees mountains, the 'Shanti' chime is an authentic musical instrument, an original creation of high quality.

Eight chords are welded with silver into the metal plate at the base of the resonance tube. Precise tuning creates a play of clear tones that is rich in overtones. The overtones of the shorter chords gradually dominate and become fundamentals, thus forming a circular tone range.

Shanti chimes come in five different tunings, each with its specific magic timbre, and in seven colours. The length of the tube is 125mm (5 inches); the diameter is 65mm (2,5 inches).

Move the chime gently holding it by its cord: the crystalline, relaxing sound may leave you in quiet wonder. Outside, as it plays with the wind, it will carry you away on an unexpected melody (shelter from rain and direct sunlight).

Chimes are £39 including P&P. £36 if collected in person.   (The unfortunate rise in price is unavoidable and is due to the fall of the pound against the Euro)

Order your chimes by email or phone, and send your payment by post or PayPal.

Send your payment to Heart Song, along with your name and address and choice of tone. Occasionally a choice of colour may be available.  Please state your three top preferences of colour and we will try to meet your requirements.
